Series 2 are watercolor impressions. They are like memory-notes of feelings from spending time in places. Like the remembered conversations where bits of this and that remain. What remains? That stillness has shades and that movement has facets. That the land in its surroundings has both. These watercolor impressions are like exploratory conversations with the land in its surroundings: disused tin mines in Puchong in Selangor; Pulau Tioman and the outer cluster islands off Pahang. The mood that began the series was an inspiration from Psalms 84.
